Silverado Park is a neighbourhood park and open space amenity constructed as part of a residential development within the City of Oshawa. The project was designed to provide an accessible and multifunctional recreational destination for residents, incorporating active play opportunities, informal gathering spaces, and an interconnected trail network throughout the site.

The park includes a custom playground featuring climbing and play structures, swings, and a large space net, together with a basketball half-court, seating areas, pedestrian pathways, open turf areas, and naturalized landscape features. Supporting amenities include park signage, fencing, shade trees, and low impact stormwater management elements integrated into the overall site design.

HKLA was responsible for the landscape architectural design, preparation of construction documentation, plantings, site furnishings, grading coordination, and recreational amenity layout.  The project involved close coordination with municipal staff, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to advance the park from concept through detailed design and construction.

Construction has been completed and the park now serves as a community recreational hub, providing residents with a variety of active and passive recreation opportunities while enhancing the character and connectivity of the surrounding neighbourhood.
