Rose Parkette is a neighbourhood park located at 79 Rose Crescent in Newtonville, Ontario, developed for the Municipality of Clarington to provide an accessible and engaging community gathering space within an established residential area. The project transformed an underutilized open space into a vibrant recreational destination featuring a modern playground, shade structure, seating areas, accessible pathways, and enhanced landscaping.

HKLA provided landscape architectural services including site layout, grading, planting design, and tender administration. The design incorporated accessible circulation routes, engineered play surfacing, custom concrete elements, park furnishings, tree plantings, and stormwater drainage improvements to support long-term site functionality and user enjoyment.

Completed in 2025, the parkette provides local residents with a welcoming recreational amenity that enhances neighbourhood connectivity, encourages outdoor activity, and contributes to the character and identity of the surrounding community.
