Blackmore Park is a new neighbourhood park in Innisfil that reimagines the familiar Canadian backyard as a shared community destination. Inspired by the natural landscapes of Ontario, the park blends open lawns, native planting, natural play elements, woodland character, and inviting gathering spaces to create a place where residents of all ages can play, explore, relax, and connect. The design emphasizes a balance between recreation and nature, providing a welcoming public space that reflects the character of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Henry Kortekaas & Associates Inc. is providing landscape architectural services from the 30% detailed design stage through to construction administration. Our role includes advancing the park design, preparing detailed construction documentation and specifications, coordinating with the project team and stakeholders, supporting the tendering process, and overseeing construction to help ensure the completed park faithfully realizes the design vision while meeting the Town of Innisfil's standards and long-term community needs.
